Monte Eldfrick joined the Elder team in 2017, and has served in various capacities at Calvary Boise since 2007. He and his wife Melinda have been married for 30 years and have five children and one granddaughter.
"Since I came to Christ, I have been blessed with opportunities to serve and be obedient to God and bask in His goodness. It's fun watching people grow close to God, and I love being able to serve in whatever ways He wants me to."
John Meyer has served as an elder since 2017. He has been involved in Calvary Community groups and the Twilight Hope elderly outreach. He currently serves on the finance and missions leadership teams, the Send Hope Now India ministry board, and joins in yearly mission trips to India and Cuba.
"I am a thankful, forgiven, born-again sinner and follower of Jesus. I'm excited to serve as God leads us as a church into new areas of ministry in our fast-growing city."
Tom Velasco has been a part of Calvary Boise since 1995, and has served as an elder since 2017. Before that, was a pastor on staff for 6 years, serving in School of Ministry, Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, and the teaching team.
"I really started following the Lord when I was 18. I got involved in different campus ministries, and I never looked back. I love being a part of this family."
