The Lord is doing some really exciting things in and through our church family, and this page has been created to ensure that we are all able to keep up-to-date. Be sure to check in periodically to make sure we all know how to be praying.

MARCH 13 - A Conversation about the Exiles in Babylon Conference

The Exiles in Babylon Conference, organized by Theology in the Raw, is coming up April 18-20. The mission of Theology in the Raw is to have conversations with a diverse range of thoughtful people. It’s sometimes viewed as controversial because it does not shy away from tackling challenging and divisive issues head-on.

Understandably, because our facility is being used for this conference, our pastors and staff have fielded some questions about not only the conference, but also the ministry of Theology in the Raw. Pastor Tucker and one of our elders, Tom Velasco, recently invited the leader of the conference, Preston Sprinkle, into the studio to have a conversation and give some answers.

We hope this conversation is helpful. Once you’ve been able to listen to it, if you have questions, let us know by sending us an email.

MARCH 7, 2024 - Middle School: An Exciting Update

EtheridgeSml2As you may know, Pastor Reggie has been serving as Lead Pastor at Trinity Fellowship for the past eight months, while also leading our Middle School ministry. As his role with Trinity solidifies, we are shifting his responsibilities to allow him to focus more on the work at Trinity.

With that in mind, this year’s Middle School Winter Camp will be Reggie’s last as Middle School pastor at Calvary Boise. Please pray for Reggie and his family as they continue to follow God’s leading.

WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN WITH OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY?

As we have been praying for God’s guidance in this time of change, it has become clear that for the foreseeable future, Pastor Parker, who is our High School Pastor, will also care for the Middle School Ministry. He’ll be working with the middle school team that is already in place, and focusing on building a team that can serve this vital ministry in new and exciting ways. In talking this through with Parker, we are all hopeful that as we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, God will care for this ministry well.

OSheaSmlPlease pray for Parker, his family, the Middle School and High School Leadership teams, as well as the students during this time of change. We are expecting God to do great things!
