How Is Our Church Involved In Missions?

How Is Our Church Involved In Missions?

Jesus Christ calls and empowers His church to follow His example and bring God’s Kingdom to Earth. Because we want to live like Him and follow His Holy Spirit, we are dedicated to equipping saints to preach the Gospel and make disciples. We also believe in the imperative to do this in the context of the mission He gave us. Therefore, Calvary Boise is dedicated to both send missionaries and be sent to people who haven’t heard the Gospel—in our community, nation, and throughout the world.

WAYS TO SUPPORT CALVARY BOISE’S MISSIONS

Pray

Pray

Pray

You can help serve our local and global missions by praying for those who are serving and those who are being served. Pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit and God’s guidance for each person serving, and open hearts for the people they are reaching out to. Pray also for our church for:

1. PURPOSE: A fresh desire to reach the unreached.
2. PERSEVERANCE: Grace to press on toward the prize of a new generation of believers.
3. PARTNERSHIP: Open doors to the mission field through unified relationships.

“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” -Ephesians 6:18

In order to effectively and healthily send our global missionaries, we are building sending teams around each missionary to provide the financial, prayer, and logistical support they need. These teams commit to meeting up regularly to fellowship and pray for their missionary. To join a team and support a missionary, contact care@calvaryboise.com. You can also provide financial support by clicking on any of the global missions listed above.

Calvary Boise supports long-term missionaries in 11 countries, with prayer, logistical, and financial support. We also send short-term mission trips to many of these locations each year. Information on these trips is published as it is available.

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." –Matthew 28:18-20
