Prayer

May 2, 2017

I cried out to You, O Lord; and to the Lord, I made supplication. Psalm 30:8.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

o Wes lives in Alaska and his friend asks that we pray for him because he had a procedure done on his heart yesterday, May 1. It is supposed to help his AFib. Please pray that he draws closer to God.

o Gostavo’s mother prays that he will learn responsibility in his school and more important with the Lord, She also asks for prayer for her husband Alex and Rosie and that she will grow in the Lord’s Word.

o Michelle asks that we pray for her parents. Her mom’ heart is in A Fib, pray her heart will go back to normal. Her mom is also planning on getting total knee replacement surgery next month. She is unable to take arthritis medication due to the medication she is taking for her heart. Pray she will not experience any pain from the arthritis. Pray for her salvation, she has not made the decision to follow Jesus yet. Michelle’s dad is experiencing stomach problems when he eats. Pray the doctors will find out what the problem is and be able to treat it. Pray for his salvation as well.

o Also, Michelle recently moved into a new townhome and just learned that her neighbor was recently robbed. Pray protection for our neighborhood (this is a new community) and my home as well. Also pray that she will adjust to her new home and roommate.

o Cindi had a total knee replacement Monday. Pray that she recovers fully and quickly.

o Pray for the Children’s Ministry to have sufficient volunteers and for all teachers and assistants to serve with great joy and enthusiasm. Pray that the adults in our congregation recognize that it is a great privilege to share Jesus with the next generation and that we, as a fellowship, will reflect the heart of our Lord Jesus who loved the little children so much.
