DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

“Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”-Matthew 6:10

Most of us have those words memorized. They're easy to say but often hard to do---even though there's tremendous peace in trusting God and a whole lot of stress associated with trying to figure things out on our own.

Today, remember the words of a 19th century American minister Stephen Merritt: You may move the hands of a clock to suit you, but you do not change the time; so you may hurry the unfolding of God’s will, but you harm and do not help His work.

Relax. God is working.

Unsure about God's will for you? Consider IThessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Follow those general instructions----pray with faith and joy and listen for God's quiet instruction. Be confident. He will see His will accomplished.
