Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray that our sons and grandsons will accept Christ’s blessed gift of salvation.

  • Mindy Tiber, principal of Calvary Christian School asks that we join her in praising God that the number of students registered for next year is up a little over last year. Please keep praying for the opportunity to reach and teach even more students and that all who want to attend will have the finances necessary for tuition.

  • Please pray for Latino Women’s Retreat slated for September 7-9.  They are in the planning phases and desire to be filled, inspired and led by the Holy Spirit. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be preparing the hearts of all those who will attend the retreat to have a heart to seek Him with their whole hearts, for renewal and transformation to occur as we prepare and go away for a weekend of seeking a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus.

The following are anonymous requests:

  • Please pray for the closure of Planned Parenthood.

  • Please pray for my broken heart to heal after a very bad breakup.

REQUESTS FROM THE MISSION FIELD

Natalie Bridges who ministers in Romania is visiting the States and shares the following:

  • I appreciate prayer for God's guidance and timing during my time in the States. Pray that I am able to share with people and churches and connect with friends and family.

  • Please keep praying for Razvan's salvation. God continues to work in his life. He faithfully coming to hear the word preached...not only on Sundays, but the Wednesday night Bible study as well.

  • Please continue to pray for the kids at the after-school program—for their salvation, to have a good summer, resist negative peer pressure, make good decisions, be internally motivated to work hard, and that we will have wisdom and discernment in training them.

  • Please keep the children at the orphanage in your prayers. Ask that we will have wisdom in how to help them. Florin, the little boy we've been praying for at the orphanage passed away and the funeral was yesterday.

  • Please keep my co-worker, Laura in prayer. God is working in her life, but she has not responded to the gospel yet and seems to have a lot of anger directed at my colleague (a fellow believer).  She also needs wisdom to handle all the challenges with the people and programs for which she is responsible.

  • Please pray that the Harford family will come to know Jesus as their savior.
