Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray for Daniel a married man and father of three who is on SSI and recently moved to Boise from Emmett. His car’s transmission recently blew up and he cannot afford to fix it. He is without transportation. Please pray that God will provide a car he can buy within his very limited budget or that someone will loan him a car.  Pray for God's provision and a greater trust in God's promises.

  • Please pray for Trisha’s sister who has had numerous serious health issues that almost took her life last year. Now she needs gall bladder surgery and is in a lot of pain. She has to wait a few more weeks. Please ask that the surgery date will be moved up and that she’ll be able to get back to work quickly when it’s over. She saw the miracle last year. Pray that she continues to see God’s hand at work.

  • Please pray for Jeanne’s daughter who is rushing headlong into a marriage her parents oppose. Pray that the Lord will intervene and give the daughter supernatural wisdom. Ask that the parents will miraculously know how to show their daughter their love while disapproving of the path she is taking.

  • Please pray for Bryce who fell and hit his head resulting in a brain bleed. Pray that the Lord will heal him completely. Praise God that he knows Jesus as His Savior.

  • Please pray for Michelle’s mom Susan who recently had knee surgery that went very well. She is home recuperating but threw up this morning. Her blood sugar is low and she has a bad cough. Please pray for her blood sugar to stabilize. Rebuke any sickness that is coming against her. Ask that her appetite improves and that the Lord strengthens her. Pray that her husband is able to take care of her and that this experience draws them closer to accepting Christ as their Lord and Savior. Also pray for Michelle. She has suffered with a debilitating cough for several weeks and can’t visit her mom until she is better.

The following is an anonymous request:

  • A young woman who works at BSU asks that we pray for her to have wisdom for crucial conversations as a student advocate and also for great insight and discernment as she is involved in planning a class for next year. Recently she met a professor from Notre Dame who will be helping put together a class that has the potential to inspire great conversations and be life-changing for students.

  • Please pray for the National Day of Prayer Rally. Pray that thousands will turn out on the State Capitol steps Thursday, May 3, at noon. Pray for Pastor Tucker as he prepares to lead the group in prayer for the church. Ask God to stir the hearts of people from throughout the valley to unite in prayer. Pray that at least 50 people from every Bible-believing church will attend.
