Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Pray for unity among our Christian brethren especially those in leadership and ministry. Pray that ego would be defeated and all who know Jesus would pray for humility and the mind of the Lord. Ask that we would not exalt ourselves above one another but would seek God’s help in putting others first.

  • Derick has determined that he will go to Oklahoma’s Cancer Treatment Centers of America for treatment of his stage IV brain cancer.  He will be traveling alone. Pray that he is very aware of God’s presence and that the Lord will guide the doctors. Pray that God’s will be done. Pray for Derick’s son Justin to be comforted and granted peace. Pray that he will get caught up in school and be well rested while his dad is so far away. Also please pray for Derick’s mom to know the peace of the Lord.

  • Pastor Rhett’s mother-in-law Dolores is still in the ICU. Her husband, Luis, has to go back to California today to start working again. Dolores says she is afraid to be alone. Please pray for comfort for her as well as wisdom for Rhett and his wife. They need to know how best to divide their time at the hospital. Pray that Delores will continue to make progress by the grace of God.

  • Chris’s mom Deb will have surgery on Tuesday. Please ask God to give the doctors great wisdom and skill and also pray that the treatment will be effective and Deb will be healed.

  • Pray for a family from our fellowship that is currently living in Europe because of the husband’s work. They will be relocated in two-and-a-half years and ask that we start praying now that the Lord will be in every step of the new assignment—that he would ordain their new location, new home, church, friends, friends for the kids and this would be an opportunity to minister God’s love in a fresh environment.
