Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray for Terri. Her husband Steve had a severe stroke and will be released from the Elks Rehab Center on January 18. He needs 24-hour-care and their finances are limited. Terri had a meeting  yesterday with a care facility. Please pray that Steve will be accepted in that facility and that Terri will be able to find the means to pay for it. She is a faithful prayer warrior and passionate Christian.

  • An anonymous couple asks that we pray for traveling mercies for their son this week and for their dad who is moving to Ohio.

  • Sevana asks that we pray that the Lord will give her wisdom and knowledge regarding the care of her parents who live in California. It is very difficult for her to manage their care from Idaho. They are both in their 80s. Her mom suffers from aggressive Alzheimer’s disease. They don’t qualify for medical assistance and cannot afford home-health care. Her father is in denial and refusing help from family members. Sevana is concerned that her mom, who is a diabetic, is not receiving adequate care. To complicate matters, Sevana’s 49-year-old brother lives with their parents and has become burdensome to them financially and mentally. Sevana asks that we pray that the Holy Spirit will lead her into the right solution.

  • Pray for Morgan, a little boy whose parents are contemplating divorce. Pray that in the midst of his sadness and his confusion Jesus will be real to him. Pray for Christian friends and  caregivers.

  • Please pray for Javier who is leading a double life. He has a wife and children in Boise and a girlfriend he refuses to leave who lives out of town. His wife does not want a divorce but wants her marriage restored. Please pray that he will come to his senses and come home for good. He is leaving town next week on a supposed business trip and his wife fears that he is going to see the other woman. He professes to be a Christian. Please ask God to convict him and bring him to repentance.

  • Pray for Margaret whose husband left her and her son in November for a woman who is also married. Even though he is committing adultery, Margaret still loves her husband and wants her marriage to succeed. Pray that he will come to the point of asking God to forgive him. Pray that he will wake up to the fact that this adulterous woman is using him. Margaret is trusting God to fix her marriage. Please join her in beseeching the Lord to intervene as only He can.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, we know we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. –  I John 5:14-15
