Prayer

DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. Psalm 28:6-7.

Prayer has a transforming power because it brings us into a pure atmosphere, and to a new point of view. It is not always that anything changes. However, through prayer we see things as we never saw them before. We are different  in our attitude and so obtain the light and strength and blessing.

 Prayer Requests

  • Keep praying for the young man with the brain tumor who needs to decide whether or not to authorize surgery. His mother is very concerned about him and his survival chances. Pray that he will make the right choice soon and that God will provide his mom with peace and comfort.

  • Brent and Hope Harrell our missionaries in Rome, Italy ask that we pray for their  New Year’s service and celebration and also that the Lord would give Brent vision for the church for the New Year. Also they are preparing to break off a new work in Acila.  About half of the church will go with that new effort. Pray that the transition goes well.

  • Pray for Calvary Boise’s leaders as they go forward into a New Year.  Ask that the Lord will be glorified in all that they undertake and that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide them every step of the way.

  • Please pray for Saul & Angelica Alvarez who minister at Calvary Chapel of Tepic, Mexico. They have five months to find a new meeting place.  Pray that the Lord will provide just the right home for their church.

  • Please keep praying for comfort, protection and healing for Addie Abernathy the four-year-old waging a very brave fight against a deadly form of cancer. Ask that the family will have peace and joy.
