DAILY PRAYER REQUESTS

Saturday October 28, 2017

Daily Devotional

Let, I pray, Your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to Your word unto Your servant.  Psalm 119:76.

God's Word remains our best resource for every area of life - - - - including prayer. Knowing the nature of God builds our confidence in approaching the Creator of the Universe. Understanding the heart of God helps us align our prayers with His will and ensures their success. A biblical revelation of His power and provision, wisdom and love, bolsters our faith and hones our ability to trust that The Lord's answer is always in our best interest. Spend time studying His message to us, His children, because a thriving prayer life is surely built on the foundation of God's Word.

 PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Please pray for Janet and her family. They’re in a very hard situation and urgently need deliverance.

  • Pray for Albert to understand his need for a relationship with Jesus that goes beyond what he knows about God from his Catholic upbringing.

  • Praise Report. Thursday, we prayed for Nadine Stewart’s sister who was undergoing surgery. Everything went very well and the Lord provided in many wonderful ways for her sister during this ordeal. She is praising the faithfulness of our good, good Father and wants to thank the church family for praying.

  • Pray for the Grant Family. Matthew is experiencing ongoing chronic infections. Pray for his healing. Also, in an effort to improve Matty’s educational opportunitie, the family is planning to move back into the Boise School District. Pray that they will clearly understand the Lord’s will in this possible lifestyle change. Pray too, that the move will not adversely affect Luke, who is autistic. Ask that God will bring Amber and Jason the opportunity to rest in the midst of all that is going on.

Anonymous Requests:

  • Praise report!  I have been asking for your prayers for quite some time now about JB.  The situation has somewhat improved. I thank you for all of your consistent prayers from the bottom of my heart.

  • Pray for a woman who is crippled by fear. Ask that God will deliver her from the bondage that affects every area of her life.

Enjoy your time in God’s presence.  It is a privileged place to be.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. – I John 5:14-15
